The demon horde dwindles to nothing. Jesse finishes the last few in front of him. Bloodied and bruised he turns his attention to Asmodeus. The half-elf casts a
dozen magic missiles at the demon lord, just to annoy him.
"Looks like your backup is gone, Asmodeus, and your way home is blocked. Hope you're ready for a beating". |

With the horde gone, we can all turn our attention to Asmodues.
"Well, looks like you've been out flanked and out numbered, once again." "Don't even think that you have the upper hand, little man". He snarls. "Well in your case it would be upper claw, but lets not quibble words here." Joyti Spouts out. "And I owe your ass a lot of pain, and I mean a lot of pain. I haven't forgotton the first time we met. While I am sure you have ravaged lots of young ladies, and have forgotton about them, I assure they haven't" And with a wave of her hand, there is about 100 women, of all shapes and sizes, glowing white with very nasty looking weapons. "I must say however, that you were a good teacher in a lot of things; in particular how to trap souls. I have been carrying many of these around for years, just waiting till the time would be right to turn them loose. And of course, now that they are not trapped in your dimension, they have nothing to lose, at all. If you kill them 'again', this time thier soul won't go back to hell. Alright Girls, lets show MR. asshole here, the right way to have fun." And with that, they all charge with a blood curdleing scream that is only heard on the bargain basement day sales. |

"And you worry about pissing ME off?" Lyssa chuckles to Liam who merely shakes his head as they watch Joyti and her friends swarm Asmodeus.
"Cmon! Let's get behind him while we still can, that's not gonna distract him for long!"
As they move around the chaos that is Joyti and her friends Lyssa looks at Jesse and the others quickly. "Keep him focused on you!" she mouths, even though the screaming more than covers any other noise. She taps the hilt of her sword as they pass, showing the intention to use it on Asmodeus as Sandy had told her and Liam to do earlier. "Are you sure this is gonna work?" Liam asks as they run. "Why didn't you ask Sandy that when he came up with it?" she shoots back and he shrugs. "Just look for an opening and hit Demonboy as hard as you can. After that the rest is up to Padre and the others." |

I can see the others are getting ready for the attack. I hope that Liam and Lyssa can thier strikes in, they maybe the critical ones.
I see Jesse is ready to give it good one, I turn and look at joyti, she is enjoying this too much, I think with a faint chuckle. Not that the old boy didn't deserve it, but still you have to laugh at the fact he is learning the hard way about "a woman with can of whoop ass in her hand". When Jesse give the nod we hit, and hopefully the sword strikes will do thier magic. |

Lyssa and Liam ease into position behind Asmodeus who is still dealing with Joyti's friends. Liam looks over at Lyssa, still a little concerned about the
wound on her arm, but she just nods back as if to say "Worry bout it later, if there is a later that is." He silently agrees and prepares himself to
attack the second the signal is given.
Watching Joyti Lyssa smiles to herself. She wonders if she should feel sorry for her old friend but then decides he is wise enough by now to know how to keep himself out of trouble where his new wife's temper is concerned. A faint tingle goes thru her mind telling her that Meela more than agrees with her. "Ok Jesse, any time you are ready." she thinks, praying to the few gods she still follows that Sandy's plan will work. |

Jesse gives a nod to the others and as one they all attack. Jess targets Asmodeus with a controlled blast of fire that is almost a blinding white hot flame. At
the same time, Isabell sends her cone of ice, Liam, Lyssa and Sandy attack with their enchanted blades. All that is left to do is hope it works.

The fire and ice hit Asmodeus almost simultaneously which means he has to fight off the magic, instead of abosorbing it. One side is ice the other fire and the
differential is causing the magic resistance to falter.
Then as Liam and Lyssa make thier strikes the blades do thier special damage, absorbing the life energy at the same time. One takes the small of the back, the other the upper chest area. As the blades bite deep they are ripped out of thier hands from the thrashing, and then with two almost instant blows to the knees with the holy Avenger sword, Sandy take out the Tendons of the knees, causing Him to drop to the floor. Even then he was starting to recover, when one of the souls grabs the demon around the head and covers his eyes and screams "NOW!" The demon grabs the soul and attempts to rip it off his face, but in doing pulls down, just in time to see the Avenger Sword make the final Arc and sever the head. The scream is enough to burst eardrums for some and the walls reverberate. But the body falls and then dissapates like smoke, and stain on the floor being the only thing left. |

"How much you wanna bet that stain will never go away." Jesse says as he looks at what is left of Asmodeus.
"Is everybody okay?", he asks in the aftermath of the battle. |

As the foul smoke lingers, and leaves a decaying, sweet scent of death, enough to gag us. I suggest we go back to the rooms, my room or Jesses room. I yell out
to Jane "Jane close down the computer and meet us in my room."
I begin walking towords the room and hear a tinkle and giggle behind me. I turn and there is about 1/2 of the souls still there, waiting. "All right, everyone to my room, we have an alter there. Blessing will be handed out by one and all present that are still alive. Be there in 5." And I turn back to head to my room. |

looks at Joyti with a mischevious grin. "I think we ought to let the guys clean this up don't you?" she asks her with a giggle.
"Now I know you are ok!" Liam laughs and she shrugs as if to say "You expected something different?" She walks over to Jesse and says "Hard to believe we've only been home a few hours, but at least you can say this about us, we never have boring homecomings." |

"Absolutely!" Lyssa laughs and begins to follow him. She catches a glimpse of Liam still standing there and she turns back around.
"You ok?" she asks and he says "Yeah, just one little problem." She looks at him and he laughs "We haven't decided who won our little bet remember?" She looks around at the mess and says "Well I'd say it's pretty much a draw, since we both hit Asmodeus at the same time, but then again the others helped with that. So let's go with just the regular demons. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think you won." He starts in surpise at this and she laughs "It had to happen eventually I guess. So what do I have to do?" He pauses dramatically till she's about ready to smack him with the flat of her sword. "Nothing much really, just the next time you leave the Realm I go with you. No sneaking out or nothing. I go or no go." She thinks about this for a long moment and says "Ok, although as a penalty for losing a bet it leaves a lot to be desired. I mean all you had to do was just ask me, I would have gone along with it." "Oh yeah, and what did you have in mind if you had won?" he asks and she smiles a crooked smile. "I guess you'll just have to live with the fact that you will never know the answer to that now won't ya?" she says and walks out as he roars laughter and follows her and the others down the hall. |

The door to the magic containment room opens, and I Step out. The place looks Ok, but you never know, and since I have no clue which actual universe I ended up
in..... Damn, I am going to have to pay attention.
Looks around and see Joyti, and his heart swells again. He never thought he would see this day, Thinking back to the time of his leaving the old Order.... Suddenly my attention is snapped back to the present, when Joyti says something, and I realise I am missing it. "My Pardon Dear, I am tired and was but on the verge of day-dreaming for a moment. I didn't catch a word you said." She utters something unspeakable in human language, third plane Demon lingo. And It suggested I do something anatomically impossible for me to do alone. And then smiles and adds in common tounge "But I am willing to help!"

I stand and wait for the rest of the group to come out. I look at her, she looks at me.
"Did we make it?" she asks. "I don't know yet, and I am not even sure if I am the right one....." About that time, Sandy and Isabell step out. We wait in silence for Jane and Wolph to pop out. |

Liam grins at Lyssa who says "I'm game if you are." He changes to his regular Centaur form and she climbs up. "You sure you'll be
ok?" he asks and she laughs "Get a move on Captain or I'll make you wash the dishes for me!" A dish rag magickally appears on his head and
he laughs "Ok let's go!"
They charge off...but Liam does so carefully keeping his stride as smooth as if Lyssa was walking across a floor instead of riding a horse. |
