Sounds like the typical situation; nobody cared if the women disappeared, they were only inner city Ho's and druggies. How the hell could any stand the
smell? It was strong enough to go down the street and gag out the employees at a sausage shop. And no one was the wiser.

the house was reported repeatedly over the years for a smell that was described as "a dead person" and no one ever investigated that?
I remember years ago Michael Moore had a show called TV Nation and in one episode he decided to see what he could do to get people to call the police and report a possible serial killer in the neighborhood. He rented a house. After a couple of weeks he staged "screaming in the middle of the night" sessions and started carrying heavy garbage bags out to his car and driving off....no calls. He dug a pit in the front lawn and filled it with lye. No calls. He walked around the front yard in a butcher's apron. No calls. He walked around the front yard in the butcher's apron, a leather mask, holding a chainsaw...finally...someone called. For people to have called it had to have been truly horrific.....for those calls to be ignored should be criminal. |
