it pains me to say this; but since one of our moderators removed topics that were not by his authorship, and I see no reason at all, not even sent to me by
e-mail as to why he did this, I must remove the status of moderator until such time as this person can show me a good reason to restate it. That will take some
time. But rest assured that this person knows who they are. And I know who they are, because I read the logs.
I will reiterate for all and anon again; the only reason to delete a topic, is 1) it is child porn (illegal everywhere), 2) the person is seriously threating someone, and that will be followed by a notice to authorities, or 3) the person is obvious illegal spam or just plain flaming everyone for no reason, but even then, I ask that the moderstors move the subject to the vault, something this person had the authority to do.
And once again I will re-iterate why we do not delete so quickly; it is permanent, you can't get it back. In the vault I can always move it out if I so desire. But once deleted, it is gone, and now in truth, anything can be said and claimed. We have had this in the past; we probably will have this in this in the future, and sometimes, shit just happens.
