It works, this isn't rocket science. I was doing the "opposite thingy" where Jesse is sitting opposite and he "water" so the opposite side is Fire. You did what you were supposed to, no problem.

Original he was referign to Ldynight, but he decided to take a stab at Karleen also, he is lashing out since you rejected him, and he isn't that concerned with relationships. He just knows that you, ldynight, Karleen, syluss, Sandy, lyssa and the whole bunch are not with him. So he is bound to make some slips - real relationships are actually beneath him unless it important for the moment.

That I wasn't thinking really well last night. But hay that it is the fun part about this; we can 'make mistakes' now and then and how really cares. The whole idea is for the two of them to provide some drama before we get to Joyti.

Well it should be any time now; he is obviously losing to this bunch and that just galls him, which is why of course he brought in pater.

Just a side note, pater is now longer, for the moment 'Padre', that is what is there is the evil of the land that had attached itself to him. Padre still has a portion of "pater' but that is the 'evil that is present in all men'. So in reality this pater is only shadow of padre in the true sense of the word. However, as you will see, since he does have padres memories for now he will use them to try and find the "Chinks in the armor" to get you mentally; so don't let your guard down.

Just remember one thing; he is up to something. As long as he is talking and wheedling you, he thinks he has you and is just trying to get your goat.

One thing I need to mention, cause I was just thinking this up; no one person can cross the barrier, not even the child or its magic, which if of course why the circle is the way it is. No one can smudge the lines indavertanly as they are permanently set into the floor so that is not an issue; but since there must always be one 'way out' for the demons (part of writing tales, there is no perfect defense or it wouldn't be interesting) it is this. Just like any other legend about certain demons and undead, if you invite them in and you have to say the words, "I invite you in" then they can cross the barrier. That is how we are going to get Joyti across the barrier.

Now, I am not so silly as to have it allowable that only one person can do that, it take all four quarters to do it. So if liam hears three of us say "I invite you in", then he had better be ready to disable the fourth from saying it.

Since JL isn't as aware of the Rules of magic, I will say this, and you can pass it on; he will have a choice, he can either knock out the last person, or sever the link to ground. In the first case, it will have to be such that they are instantly incapacited and can not speak (risking death to one of us) or he can severe the link with the red button. Just realise that in severing the link like that, it will trigger the 'defenses' and lock us in. That means we will be locked into the room with Asmoudeus and Pater, and until they are dead will not unlock. If we lose, the room will never unseal from the outside and it will simply 'cease to exist' from this universe, thus entomed our bodies forever; or until we get the T.V. repair man to fix the controls .

Also just because we die, doesn't mean our spirits will be free; they will be stuck in the Depths of the Abyss until someone figures out where we are, and comes to get us. Since no one really knows about this little adventure (i.e. that we are actually doing it), it maybe sometime.

Nothing like a death and eternal damnation to spice up the story eh?
