Lyssa looks over at a clearly puzzled Liam. "It's kinda like what I deal with with my Mother. Her body is buried in my home forest of Beltane but her spirit still walks. There are certain occasions where she can't interfere in things but it's really no different than dealing with a hologram I suspect...Padre just has more control over what he can and can't do than she does is all. So just think of it as Ghost Padre except he ain't dead."

Liam thinks about this and then says "Ok, I will give it my best shot. Just remember I'm a soldier not a scientist ok?" She nods and takes a drink.

Turning to Padre she says "So looks like we both will have a price to pay where our children are concerned. Mine was walking away from Talon to ensure Meela's safety so I sorta understand things better than you would know. The tech speak not so much but we are both used to that from me I think."

Joyti looks puzzled and Lyssa laughs softly. "Magick I understand...more or less...Padre Speak as Talon used to call it?...little more difficult to fathom."

"Ok you are starting to seriously sound like my mother now!" Lyssa laughs. "Remind me to have her drop in on ya sometime...be a hell of a conversation I think."

"So something like my parents murders are more likely to have occured in all the universes...not just in the one." Lyssa says to Liam who nods his thanks to Padre for the med. "Ok I was gonna ask about that but not sure if I should." he replies to Lyssa who smiles and says "It's ok, it's something I figured out a long time ago. Let's just say this is not my first ride thru time and all that and leave it there. Besides any doubts I may have had were cleared up during our little jaunt."

He looks at her and she says "Had a little talk with my mother while Meela was in control down there. She wanted to make sure I wouldn't try to go and change what must be no matter what universe we ended up in. Again not the first time I've had to promise that so I'm just gonna continue living my life and whatever I run across I will deal with then. Otherwise I'll end up with the migraine of all migraines!"

Liam is silent for a moment, wanting to ask his next question but not daring to. Seeing this she puts her left hand on his arm. He looks down and sees her finger is still ringless. He looks up and she smiles again. "Even time won't allow the breaking of Clan Law." she says and he starts to say "I'm sorry I just...." She stops him and replies "It was a understandable concern Captain. Clan Magick is powerful and that is all I am allowed to say. I thank you for the concern though." He returns the smile and lets the matter drop. He tries to fight the sense of relief he feels and manages it just barely.

She looks at Jesse and says "If you decide to go looking for Raylan, I'll help if you want. I can't advise on whether you should or not because that's something only you can decide. Either way I'll offer whatever aid I can."

Lyssa grins back "Ok now you sound like me. I wondered how long it would take before that happened." Liam looks puzzled and she laughs "He has been my teacher for a long time ya know."

She stretches a bit and with a crooked grin says "As for trying to figure out what all has changed...isn't that a bit like counting all the stars in the sky as my father would say?" Liam smiles, enjoying the musicality of the slight Celtic accent that Lyssa inherited from her father. "I tried that once," he laughs "but after 5,999 I got tired. I was only a colt at the time." Lyssa shakes her head with a chuckle "I only got to about 10,000 myself. Father suggested it when I had trouble going to sleep at night." Thoughts of the father she barely remembers makes her go quiet for a moment as she wonders what he would think of her and the current situation she is in. She straightens and shakes her head as if to say it can't be helped now.

She turns her attention to Joyti and says "You've been awfully quiet. Is everything ok?" Concern is evident in the clear blue eyes and gentle smile.
