Meela grins at Rosa, still careful not to look directly at her because of the light shining from her eyes, and says "You are most welcome! Mom would have been most upset if I let something happen to you. And I'm sure Sandy and Isabell would have been even madder at me."

When Sandy asks if she was responsible for Asmodeus's leaving she looks at the ground as if not sure how to answer him. "Yes that was me. No I don't know how I did it exactly. I just thought it would be nice to see him fall into a big hole and well he did. Please make sure Mom understands that when she gets back. I know she worries that I may be like her. Unfortunately she will not get her wish I do not think."

Liam asks "Why should that worry her, it's a good thing to be like her." Meela sighs "Part of her hopes that I will not be able to do magick when I am finally born. What you see as gift she sees as a curse sometimes." She looks toward Jesse and says "I hope you understand what she means, I can only explain so much to him about her."

She walks over to Jane and Joyti and says to Joyti. "Mother told me to trust you, and I think she's right in that, you and her are more alike than either of you knows." She then turns to Jane and says "Mother also told me that we will need more Clan to get thru what she and I face. And if going thru all of this will not make us Clan I don't know what will. Once this is over and I am born I will view everyone here with the exception of Jesse and Liam and Rose as my aunts and uncles. It is an important role since in Clan custom the whole family raises the children born to it. She said you and Wolf would understand since your people are also Clan like though she said you don't call it that. Or I think that's what she meant. Hard to say."

Rosa asks what Jesse, Liam and her role will be and Meela grins. "Well Jesse will be more like my adopted grandfather since Mother views him like a second father but I promise not to call him Grandfather if he doesn't want me to. You will be more like a cousin since you are Sandy and Isabell's child."

The grin fades somewhat as she considers the answer about Liam. "Liam is protector to me and Mom. It is the role my Father Talon would have filled if fate hadn't decided otherwise. So I guess he will be Ceclon to me, although Syluss will be my Godfather, it is still important thing. It means one who is like a father but not by blood or marriage. One you trust as you would your own father I guess. Godparents are chosen by the parents. Ceclon is chosen by the child only. It is how Mother sees Jesse so I take it is good thing."

Liam smiles at Meela and says "I think I can handle that. Although as your Godfather Syluss will have more say in things. Or he will try anyway. You are your Mother's daughter no matter what after all!" Meela giggles at this and says "I know, I wonder what he could have been thinking agreeing to the job in the first place!"

"As Mom would say, Do not give any ideas!!!" Meela says with a familiar crooked grin that makes Liam groan under his breath.

Without waiting for the others she steps forward onto the path. Unfortunately the Dragon steps onto the path in front of her. She raises her right hand and it glows a bright silver color. "Hmm good idea, help keep me and Mom magick straight. Light blue for Mom and silver for me, cool!" The Dragon roars at her and she looks up at it. "Ok Ok, do not get hasty!..." she tells it before she throws a blast of her own up at it. The silver light surrounds the beast and it finds it cannot move without getting a very nasty shock.

"Ohhh that gotta hurt!!!" Meela laughs. "I can't hold him forever so one of you have to do something. Isabell, Mom says you and him same. Well you good and he bad but you get idea. Can you do something to him?" There is no fear in her voice but more like a sense that she is enjoying this. Liam shakes his head and mutters to Jesse "Do we have another lil miss firecracker on our hands?"

"Well I was gonna suggest talk but that works too." Meela says in response to Isabell asking her what she wanted her to do about the evil dragon.

Hearing the Balrog, the impish grin reappears as she turns to look at it. "Mother's told me stories about you but somehow I always pictured you as much bigger."

Liam looks at her and asks "Aren't Balrogs an Elf's biggest fear?" She grins again and says "Yes they are, but you forget, I'm only part Elf. I'm half Tyrollian and only a quarter Elven and quarter Human. So I only have quarter of the fear of this big noise maker."

Liam and Sandy step forward to protect Meela but she has ideas of her own. She surrounds the monster with the silver light but instead of freezing it like the Dragon it begins to squeeze the Balrog slowly. "I can hold him a bit longer than I did the Dragon so anybody want to play or do I get to kill him myself?" She asks the others who are not fighting the dragon with that same impish smile.

Liam looks over to Jesse as if to ask if they should worry about Meela. She seems to enjoy this even more than he has ever seen Lyssa during a battle. For the first time he wonders what they are truly dealing with in this child.

Liam nods and heads in to slash at the beast. Meela says "Hey I'll squeeze him...you cut his head off. I think the sword Sandy gave you will work for that!"

Concentrating she increases the pressure on the Balrog who is now roaring loud enough to rival the trains that Padre talked about. She smiles and says "Hey I just like to hug ok?" Liam gets closer and Meela forces the beast to lower its head so that he can get at it. "Now Liam, give him a haircut!" Liam slashes and decapitates it, the sword singing in delight at the kill.

"Ok, now let's see what we can do about the dragon. Isabell you gonna kill that or what? We haven't got all day here!" Meela shouts, not in disrespect but just wanting to get on with the path. She throws blast after blast of her own at the monster. Several scales go flying from it like a shower of black rain.

Meela listens to Isabell and Joyti quietly. She then looks at both and says "I understand what you are telling me better than either of you will know or believe right now. I truly didn't want your sister to die Isabell, if I had, she would be dead now. Don't ask how that is because I don't know how I only know that it is truth. Joyti, I understand to let Isabell make the decision. That is why I asked her what she wanted to do instead of acting on my own. Thank you for trying to teach me though. Mother will tell you when she returns how difficult a task that can be."

She looks at Jesse carefully and nods once. "Yes we need to hurry, both for your sake as well as my own." Liam looks at her and she says "Innocent blood is coveted here, so they will be after me as hard as they will him." He senses there may be more but he will not pursue it while things are so hectic.

Meela looks around and says softly to no one in particular "Ok, if it's games you wish to play, so be it. I just hope you know for your own sake who the Shylac you are playing with!"

She steps onto the path and without looking to see if the others are following begins walking it. Monsters on either side howl and scream but she doesn't look at them. One crosses the path and she without looking up or thinking twice throws a blast of light at it. It incinerates and dies screaming at her. "Oh shut up, you made the decision to cross even though you knew not to!" she whispers and continues on down the path.
